Avoiding icebergs…. well on my recent journey into the South Atlantic we actually sought them out. Avoiding hitting one though requires some important considerations;
- travel slowly in waters known to have icebergs
- avoid fog
- use navigational aids such as a compass
The first image in this series should show the latter two points, as for the first point …. you’ll have to take my word for it. :-)
This was not the Titanic and Leo DiCaprio was nowhere to be seen…. lesson learnt! :-)
