About

Living in Melbourne, Australia, I have been fortunate over the years to travel far and wide and have carried a camera with me throughout my journeys.  A photographic enthusiast for many years, I started out like so many others with 35mm film cameras before venturing into medium format and in more recent times, digital.

Digital technology has opened up all sorts of possibilities and offers a level and ease of control that in the days of film we could only dream of.  Some have referred to this as a “golden age” of photography and I’m pleased to be part of it.

Contrary to the prevailing view that a photographer needs to find a niche or a specialty,  I enjoy photography in many different forms and am drawn to diverse subject material, nature, wildlife, landscape, seascape, travel, and more.
