The Blue Door, Haridwar

From time to time,  I like to present images as wallpapers or screen-savers for interested readers.   I realized that I’ve been neglecting that recently and so I’ve prepared “The Blue Door, Haridwar” as a wallpaper image.  It’s available in a choice of screen resolutions via the downloads page on my main site for those who may like it.

The blue door, Haridwar, India.  Canon 5D Mark 2 with 24-105mm zoom lens at 45mm and F5.0,  shutter speed 1/400 second at ISO 160.

The image is a break in theme from what I’ve been posting,  a “quiet” image,  almost abstract,  in the midst of so many people shots.    It’s the type of subject matter that I personally enjoy,  simple,  graphic,  with one boldly coloured element in an otherwise (almost) monochrome scene.
