Unloved photo of the month

Antique shop, Hong Kong.

Today we revisit Hong Kong. During a walk around one of the more historic parts of the city, I found a small antique shop and was drawn to the competing graphic elements of the shop’s interior and exterior. The resulting image is a composite to deal with the wide dynamic range in the scene and whilst I liked the colour version, I felt the toned monochrome effect was perhaps better.

Published on the last day of each month, the “Unloved photo” highlights a previously ignored image drawn from my archives. Today’s image is drawn from the Hong Kong image gallery. ~KD.
