Egrets in Flight, Okavango Delta, Botswana

Still going through my Botswana shots, I realize that I took quite a few bird shots including numerous shots of egrets both stalking prey in the shallow waters and also in flight. Getting effective flight shots was a challenge as the egrets tend to fly directly away from the camera when flushed out of the reeds or accidentally disturbed by the approaching vehicle or boat. The result is that you end up with a lot of tail feather studies!
