The Bell, Varanasi.

A case for (occasionally) chopping off someone’s head in a photograph.    Early morning in Varanasi by the mighty River Ganges and people gathered at the water’s edge to engage in their daily spiritual rituals.   In this instance I decided to close in on the elements which hold such meaning in the scene,  the person herself becomes anonymous but the ritual itself is perpetual.

The bell, Varanasi, India.
