Another Hazy Sunset – The Monochrome effect

Following on from yesterday’s post,  some further panoramic shots of Bangkok taken during a hazy sunset.   Today I’ve decided to go with the sepia toned monochrome treatment. all shots were handheld, but with the low speed of the flight and all the elements of the image being distant, compiling the shots necessary for a panoramic was possible.

Coastline Maui

A four-shot stitched panoramic of the Maui coast. The four frames were taken from the deck of a boat with all camera settings set in manual mode for consistency.

Drakensberg Mountains

All camera settings were in manual mode and were identical for all 11 shots. Ideally, the shots would have been taken from a tripod using a bubble level to ensure a perfect horizontal.
