Continuing the feathered theme, this time a pelican in silhouette. Originally captured on 35mm colour negative film and later scanned into the computer, this shot is uncropped and had very little digital processing done to it, the scene is very much as I saw it at the time. I like the simplicity of the image and the graphical quality of it. In order for a silhouette to be effective, the subject needs to have a readily identifiable shape, the pelican is quite distinctive.
