Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, Delhi

February-March sees me travelling (for a 3rd time) through chaotic,  frustrating,  but fascinating India.   At the time of posting this item, I’m still on the road and,  given all the restraints that travelling imposes on blog posting,  this should be considered as a “down and dirty” posting! One of the first sites which I visited upon arriving in Delhi,  was the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib.    One of the most significant sites in India for the Sikh community.   The site is a place of worship, pilgrimage, education and also community support via a substantial kitchen serving meals to all in need.

I won’t write now at length about the history etc of the location,  there is ample information available online for those that wish to research it further.

I will go through my image files in greater depth at a later date and hopefully, some further worthwhile images will emerge!   ~KD.
