Some folks get a little precious about so-called “rules” of photography and “rules” of composition, there are plenty of supposed dos and don’ts and I’m pretty sure that decapitating people in photographs is near the top of the list when it comes to the “don’t s” 🙂 It’s important, or at least helpful to be aware of the “rules” but once you’ve learnt them, don’t be afraid to break them, deliberately!
